About the Role

SmartFin CFO, associated with Bada Business by Dr. Vivek Bindra, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

• Record sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries.

• Maintain and reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.

• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Assist in GST and TDS compliance and related documentation.

• Prepare invoices and maintain proper accounting records.

• Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting.

• Prepare MIS reports and other finance-related reports.

• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.

• Coordinate with internal teams, clients and vendors for accounting-related matters.

• Support audit and other statutory requirements.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Bachelor's degree in B.Com / M.Com / Finance / Accounting or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.

• Good working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.

• Knowledge of GST and TDS.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel.

• Experience in ledger and bank reconciliation.

• Good analytical and numerical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in CA firms, accounting firms, finance companies, or business advisory firms will be preferred.
