We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager to oversee our complete financial compliance ecosystem. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of all GST and Income Tax Returns (ITR), while efficiently managing a team of junior associates to ensure accurate data entry, timely reconciliations, and strict deadline adherence for job work.
Key Responsibilities
Taxation & Compliance: End-to-end preparation, verification, and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax Returns (ITR).
Team Management: Supervise, allocate, and review the day-to-day work of junior accounting associates. Ensure error-free data entry and bookkeeping.
Reconciliations: Perform regular and highly accurate reconciliations of GSTR-2B/2A with the Purchase Register, ledger accounts, and bank statements.
Finalisation of Accounts: Assist management or external auditors in finalising balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
Liaison: Coordinate and resolve queries related to tax notices or documentation requests.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter.
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in core accounting, direct/indirect taxation, and team handling.
Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, or Zoho Books, along with excellent command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, deep understanding of Indian tax laws, and sharp analytical skills.
