Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
Auditing:
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Liaise with external auditors and manage the end-to-end audit process.
Taxation:
Handle direct and indirect tax filings, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and minimize tax liabilities through effective planning.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including Companies Act, RBI guidelines, and SEBI regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections.
Financial Analysis:
Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization.
Provide insights into financial performance and recommend improvements.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Mentor and guide junior team members in accounting and finance tasks.
