We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant with 1+ year of accounting experience to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking long-term career growth in the hospitality industry.
Job Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations across hotel properties.
Record, verify, and maintain financial transactions accurately.
Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, vouchers, and books of accounts.
Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
Generate invoices, vendor payments, receipts, and journal entries.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Support GST return preparation and TDS reconciliation.
Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
Monitor expenses and assist with budgeting and cost control.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and hospitality standards.
Assist the Finance Manager in improving accounting processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
Experience in Hotels, Hospitality, Restaurants, Retail, or Service Industry is preferred.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, Tally ERP, or similar accounting software.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas).
Knowledge of bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
