Job Description – Accounts Executive Position: Accounts Executive Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day accounting activities, GST, TDS compliance, e-way bills, and accounts finalisation. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting processes and statutory compliance. Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day accounting entries, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Maintain and reconcile customer and vendor ledgers. Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely GST compliance. Handle GST reconciliation and resolve discrepancies in GST records. Prepare and manage TDS calculations, returns, payments, and compliance. Handle e-way bill generation, amendments, and related documentation. Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance as applicable. Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation. Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and statutory requirements. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts. Handle accounts finalisation and coordinate with auditors/consultants. Prepare and provide necessary schedules, statements, and supporting documents for audit and finalisation. Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and maintain proper records. Ensure accuracy of accounting data and compliance with company policies. Prepare MIS and other accounting reports as required by management. Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
