Key Responsibilities

General Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries and update the general ledger.
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting documentation.

Accounts Payable & Payroll Support
• Manage accounts payable processes including invoice review and payment processing.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure payroll records are accurate and complete.

Account Reconciliation & Analysis
• Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure financial data integrity.
• Analyze financial information to identify inconsistencies, control deficiencies, or inefficiencies.

Compliance & Financial Controls
• Ensure accounting practices comply with GAAP and company financial policies.
• Collect and analyze financial data to detect potential control deficiencies, duplicated efforts, or noncompliance with policies and regulations.

Collaboration & Support
• Assist accounting support staff and collaborate with team members to support finance department operations.
• Report financial findings and recommended improvements to management.
• Maintain current knowledge of accounting standards, financial systems, and regulatory requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• On-Time Delivery of Financial Reporting • Reconciliation Accuracy Rate
• Financial Reporting Error Rate

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
• Experience preparing financial reports and working with general ledger systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms preferred
• Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting standards
