Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive with a good understanding of accounting software, GST, taxation, and Microsoft Excel. The candidate will be responsible for preparing invoices, maintaining vouchers, recording purchase entries, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records and day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase invoices, and accounting vouchers.

• Record and verify purchase entries, sales entries, and other financial transactions.

• Maintain accurate accounting records using Tally or other accounting software.

• Assist in GST calculations, GST documentation, and related tax compliance activities.

• Support the preparation of GST returns and other taxation-related documents.

• Perform data entry, reconciliation, and verification of financial transactions.

• Maintain proper documentation of bills, invoices, vouchers, and supporting records.

• Use Advanced Excel for preparing reports, maintaining trackers, and analyzing financial data.

• Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence using MS Word.

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updating of accounting records.

• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors regarding invoices and payment documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in B.Com, M.Com, or a related commerce or accounting field.

• Good understanding of Tally or other accounting software.

• Basic to good knowledge of GST, taxation, and accounting principles.

• Working knowledge of Advanced Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data management.

• Proficiency in MS Word and other MS Office applications.

• Knowledge of invoice preparation, voucher entries, and purchase entries.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

• Good numerical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with practical experience in accounting, invoicing, purchase entries, and GST documentation will be preferred.

• Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge and strong Excel skills may also apply.

• Candidates should be organized, accurate, responsible, and willing to learn.
