Job Summary

We are looking for an Associate – Reimbursement to manage employee and vendor reimbursement processes efficiently and accurately. The role involves verifying claims, ensuring compliance with company policies, processing reimbursements within defined timelines, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify employee reimbursement claims and supporting documents.

• Ensure reimbursement requests comply with company policies and approval workflows.

• Process approved reimbursement claims within the defined turnaround time (TAT).

• Coordinate with employees, managers, and finance teams to resolve reimbursement-related queries.

• Maintain accurate records of reimbursement transactions and supporting documentation.

• Reconcile reimbursement reports and assist in monthly closing activities.

• Identify discrepancies, duplicate claims, or policy violations and escalate them appropriately.

• Prepare periodic MIS reports related to reimbursements and expenses.

• Support audits by providing required reimbursement records and documentation.

• Continuously improve reimbursement processes and controls.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• 0–3 years of experience in reimbursements, accounts payable, finance operations, or expense management.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and expense management processes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar platforms is preferred.
