Key Responsibilities
1. Core Accounting Tasks
Enter all day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally (Sales, Purchase, Payments, Receipts, Journals, etc.)
Maintain cash book, bank book, and general ledgers
Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on time
Handle GST-related entries and assist in GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
Maintain TDS deductions and TDS-related entries
Manage accounts receivable (debtors) and accounts payable (creditors)
Assist in preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and MIS reports
2. Manufacturing Industry
Maintain stock accounting of raw material, WIP, and finished goods
Match production and consumption reports with accounts
Record job work bills and subcontractor payments
Account for machinery, tools, and maintenance expenses
Post Purchase Orders (PO) and GRN entries accurately in Tally
3. General Responsibilities
Verify vendor bills and process timely payments
Prepare documents for internal and statutory audits
Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of accounting documents
Provide timely financial reports to management
Follow company accounting policies and procedures
