Key Responsibilities:
Daily Accounting & Transactions:
Record and maintain all daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, etc.) in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
Handle cash, card, UPI, and bank transactions, ensuring accuracy in entries.
Prepare and verify daily sales, purchase, and stock reports.
Manage customer and supplier accounts and ensure timely reconciliation.
Process vendor bills and assist in making payments as per company policy.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Assist in preparation of monthly profit & loss statements and financial summaries.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory entries and filings under the guidance of the Accounts Manager.
Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary records.
Maintain proper documentation of vouchers, invoices, and bills.
Inventory & Stock Coordination:
Coordinate with the stock team for accurate recording of jewellery and bullion movement.
Assist in stock valuation and reconciliation of gold weight, diamonds, and gemstones.
Maintain records for hallmarking and metal purity certificates.
Administrative & Support Duties:
Ensure confidentiality of showroom and financial data.
Support management in budgeting and cost control processes.
Coordinate with banking personnel for deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
2–5 years of accounting experience.
Proficient in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and general accounting software.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliances.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
