Job Title: Account Head / Senior Accountant
Job Summary:
Responsible for leading the finance and accounts function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, payroll management, and effective supervision of the accounts team while supporting management with financial planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory regulations.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement and statutory deductions.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow.
- Coordinate internal and statutory audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities.
- Ensure ROC compliance, including filing of annual returns and other statutory forms, where applicable.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the accounts team.
- Prepare MIS reports, budgets, financial forecasts, and management reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA/Inter CA/CMA/MBA Finance preferred).
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, Payroll, and ROC compliance.
- Experience in finalization of accounts, statutory audits, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
