We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage accounting, taxation, statutory compliances, and ROC-related assignments for multiple clients. The candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals and be capable of independently handling day-to-day compliance activities while coordinating with clients and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime and other accounting software.
Record day-to-day accounting transactions.
Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports.
Finalize trial balance and assist in preparation of financial statements.
GST Compliance
Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and other GST returns.
Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase register.
GST input tax credit reconciliation.
Assist in GST assessments, notices and departmental correspondence.
Registration, amendment and cancellation of GST registrations.
Income Tax Compliance
Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms and companies.
Preparation of tax computation.
TDS return preparation and filing (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q etc.).
TDS reconciliation and correction statements.
Respond to income tax notices under guidance of seniors.
Preparation of Form 15CA/15CB documentation.
Client Coordination
Collect financial information from clients.
Coordinate for statutory documents and approvals.
Follow-up for pending information.
Provide timely updates regarding compliance status.
Other Responsibilities
Assist in statutory audits, tax audits and internal audits.
Maintain compliance tracker for clients.
Prepare working papers and documentation.
Support partners and managers in special assignments.
Required Skills
Strong accounting knowledge.
Good understanding of Income Tax, GST and Companies Act compliances.
Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of MCA portal, Income Tax Portal and GST Portal.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and drafting skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm.
Exposure to ROC filings and company law compliances.
Familiarity with tax audit and statutory audit assignments.
