Job Description (JD) – Account Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support the finance team with accurate reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, TDS, and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime.

• Prepare and record Sales, Purchase, Payment, Receipt, and Journal Vouchers.

• Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS) regularly.

• Generate GST Tax Invoices, Credit Notes, and Debit Notes.

• Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile GSTR-2B.

• Deduct and account for TDS and assist in TDS return preparation.

• Maintain Accounts Receivable (Customer Outstanding) and Accounts Payable (Vendor Outstanding).

• Coordinate with customers and vendors regarding payments and reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements.

• Assist in monthly and yearly account closing.

• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.

• Support internal and statutory audits.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory regulations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Accounting Principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Formulas)

• Bank Reconciliation

• Ledger Reconciliation

• Financial Reporting

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com

• Additional certification in Accounting or GST will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 2–5 Years of relevant accounting experience.

• Experience in Trading, Manufacturing, or Distribution companies preferred.

Working Days

• Monday to Saturday

• Sunday Weekly Off
