# Job Description – Experienced Accountant

Position: Accountant

### Job Summary

We are looking for an Experienced Accountant with strong practical knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, banking and taxation activities. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance work.

### Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in •Tally Prime••.

Handle •Sales & Purchase entries••, including invoice checking and accounting.

Prepare and verify •Sales/Purchase Invoices••.

Handle •E-Invoicing and E-Way Bill•• generation and reconciliation.

Pass •Journal Entries•• for expenses, provisions, adjustments, receipts and payments.

Maintain and reconcile •Party Ledgers, Debtors & Creditors••.

Prepare and maintain •Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS)••.

Handle •GST accounting and reconciliation••.

Prepare and file •GSTR-1•• and assist in other GST compliance activities.

Reconcile •GSTR-1 / GSTR-2B with books of accounts••.

Handle •TDS accounting, deduction, payment and reconciliation••.

Verify •TDS returns and Form 26AS/AIS•• wherever required.

Assist in preparation and filing of •Income Tax Returns (ITR)••.

• Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for audit and compliance.

Assist in •monthly, quarterly and yearly closing•• of accounts.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors and clients for accounting and statutory matters.

Prepare various •MIS reports, outstanding reports and account reconciliations•• as required.

• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and timely completion of statutory compliances.

### Required Skills

Strong knowledge of •Tally Prime••.

Good practical knowledge of •GST & TDS••.

Experience in •GSTR-1, GST reconciliation and E-Invoicing••.

Good understanding of •BRS and Ledger Reconciliation••.

Strong knowledge of •Journal Entries and Final Accounts••.

Working knowledge of •Income Tax / ITR••.

Good knowledge of •MS Excel•• (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Table, SUMIF/SUMIFS, basic formulas).

• Good analytical and reconciliation skills.

• Ability to independently handle accounting work.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

### Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.

Minimum •3 years of relevant practical experience•• in Accounts & Finance.

### Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in:

Tally Prime + Sales & Purchase + Billing + E-Invoicing + Journal Entries + GST + GSTR-1 + GST Reconciliation + BRS + TDS + ITR + MS Excel.

Candidates with only data-entry experience and without practical knowledge of GST, TDS, BRS and reconciliation will not be preferred.
