Job Description: Logistics Accountant (Tally or BUSY ERP)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Accountant with strong knowledge of Tally ERP or BUSY Accounting Software to manage accounting operations related to logistics, transportation, inventory, and vendor transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting records in Tally ERP and BUSY

Handle logistics and transportation accounting entries

Manage freight bills, transporter payments, and vendor reconciliations

Prepare GST invoices, e-way bills, and tax-related documentation

Monitor inventory accounting and stock reconciliation

Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny

Track receivables and payables related to logistics operations

Prepare MIS reports and monthly financial statements

Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and operations teams for accurate accounting

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Good working knowledge of Tally ERP and BUSY Software

Experience in logistics, transport, warehouse, or supply chain accounting

Understanding of GST, e-way bill, invoicing, and taxation

Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable

Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting

Good communication and organizational skills

Ability to handle multiple transactions with accuracy

Experience

3–5 years of experience in logistics or transport accounting preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred)

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience working with transport companies, warehouses, distributors, or supply chain businesses

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Knowledge of stock accounting is an advantage
