Account Executive – Job Description
Position: Account Executive
Experience: 2–3 Years
Department: Accounts
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts.
Manage Tally ERP/Tally Prime and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Handle GST-related entries, returns, and compliance.
Maintain and reconcile all ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank accounts, and cash transactions.
Pass and verify purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal, debit note, and credit note entries.
Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal departments when required.
Requirements
2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and GST.
Must have practical experience in all types of accounting entries and ledger maintenance.
Good knowledge of GST, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and basic taxation.
Good command of MS Excel and basic accounting principles.
Good communication, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Preferred: Candidates with experience in a manufacturing/industrial company will be preferred.
