1. Accounting Operations
Supervise day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Ensure timely posting of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
2. Financial Reporting
Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Provide management with financial insights and variance analysis.
Support management in decision-making through accurate financial data.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Monitor actual performance against budget and report deviations.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
Maintain compliance with all accounting standards and legal regulations.
5. Vendor & Bank Management
Oversee payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
6. Team Leadership
Supervise and train junior accountants.
Implement process improvements and maintain accounting discipline
