Job Summary
The Accounts Executive & Business Analytics professional is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions. This role bridges accounting operations with performance analysis to improve profitability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Management
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
2. Billing, Invoicing & Collections
Generate invoices and track receivables
Follow up on outstanding payments
Verify purchase bills and expenses
3. Taxation & Compliance
Assist in GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
Maintain records for TDS and statutory compliance
Support internal and external audits
4. Business Analytics & Reporting
Analyze sales, expenses, and profit margins
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
Track key performance indicators (KPIs)
Identify cost-saving opportunities and inefficiencies
5. Data Management & Insights
Maintain dashboards using Excel / Power BI (basic)
Perform trend analysis on sales and production data
Support decision-making with data-backed insights
6. Inventory & Cost Analysis (Important for Manufacturing)
Monitor stock valuation and movement
Perform cost analysis of products (e.g., makhana, millet puffs)
Coordinate with production and purchase teams
7. Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
Compare actual vs budgeted performance
Highlight variances and suggest corrective actions
Required Qualifications
B.Com / BBA / Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics
1–3 years of experience in accounting or analytics role
Key Skills
Strong accounting knowledge (Tally/ERP)
Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
Basic data analysis and interpretation skills
Understanding of GST and compliance
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Preferred Skills
Experience in manufacturing / FMCG sector
Knowledge of Power BI or Google Data Studio
Costing knowledge (BOM, production costing)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accuracy of financial records
Timely GST and statutory filings
