Accountant - Revenue and General Accounting

Accountant About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Fresh graduates or people with 1-2 years of relevant experience are welcome B.Com. graduation/MBA Finance/ CA/ CA-Inter (accounting background must). Knowledge of Revenue Accounting, general accounting practices and principles Core accounting activities related to revenue and allied activities for global entities Candidate should be ready to take up any global accounting Function role including Prepaids & Accruals process as per needs. Good with business insights, processes, control, documentations Internal control and SOX compliance/audit. Advanced computer literacy in M.S. Office products, especially in MS Excel (MUST have) Expertise in IFRS/USGAAP is preferred. It would be great if you also have . . . Working knowledge of One-Stream/Net Suite /Oracle Proficient written and verbal communication skills Solution oriented approach Willing to learn and execute Adhere to policies and guidelines Adaptability & Flexibility - Ready to accept work challenges Good Analytical Skills - Must be detail oriented What will you be doing in this role? Perform reconciliations after month-end closing to ensure completeness and accuracy. Post required entries identified during balance sheet reconciliation exercises. Prepare all monthly closure Revenue accounting entries. Liaise with controllers and other departments to solve accounting day to day issues. Any additional tasks assigned per process requirement from time to time need to be completed as per the assigned timeline and support Manager About the Team The revenue team plays a vital role in Centralize Accounting Function in all regions. We have a great team of self-driven colleagues who perform reconciliations on non-month closure and month closure activities (journal entries/reporting) for revenue. Work mode: Hybrid, Can also be changed per the company policy.
