Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, and support the company's finance and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally.

• Record and maintain purchase and expense entries accurately in Tally.

• Handle petty cash transactions and maintain petty cash records.

• Prepare and maintain Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).

• Maintain and verify sales and purchase invoices.

• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of invoices and accounting documents.

• Verify bills, vouchers, expenses, and supporting documents.

• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.

• Track and follow up on pending payments and outstanding amounts.

• Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account-related queries.

• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports.

• Maintain proper documentation for audit and statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with internal departments for bills, expenses, purchases, and payment-related matters.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all accounting entries and financial records.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounting.

• Hands-on experience in Tally is mandatory.

• Good knowledge of purchase and expense entries in Tally.

• Experience in petty cash handling and maintenance.

• Good knowledge of BRS and bank transactions.

• Experience in invoice preparation, verification, and maintenance.

• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting activities effectively.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records.
