Job Description: Accountant

Location: Gandhi Nagar
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Weekly Off: Monday (Sunday is a working day)
Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on competence & experience)

Role Overview

Top Boys is looking for a hands-on Accountant who understands the fundamentals of Indian accounting and can manage day-to-day financial operations with ownership. This role demands accuracy, compliance mindset, and comfort with retail and wholesale transaction volumes.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end accounting operations including:

• Maintaining books of accounts using Tally software

• Handling sales and purchase entries with proper documentation

• Managing GST compliance, including returns, reconciliation, and reporting

• Working knowledge of TDS provisions and related entries

• Preparation and maintenance of Balance Sheet and basic financial statements

• Generating and managing E-invoices and E-way Bills

• Ensuring accuracy in ledgers, stock-related accounting, and vendor/customer balances

• Supporting management with routine financial data and records

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong fundamentals of Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Practical exposure to GST & TDS

• Hands-on experience with Tally

• Understanding of retail & wholesale business accounting

• Attention to detail and process discipline

• Ability to work independently and meet timelines

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate in Commerce or equivalent accounting background

• Prior experience in garment, trading, or retail businesses is an advantage

• Stable mindset, long-term orientation, and execution-driven attitude
