Job Title: Accountant

Experience Required: 6 Months to 2 Years
Location: Vaishali Nagar
Department: Accounts & Finance

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 6 months to 2 years of experience to manage daily accounting tasks. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally, GST compliance, and quotation preparation. The role involves maintaining financial records, handling taxation processes, and supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

• Prepare, verify, and process sales & purchase invoices

• Handle GST calculations, filing, and compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)

• Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

• Prepare and manage quotations, proforma invoices, and purchase orders

• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Maintain proper documentation and record keeping

• Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

• Handle petty cash management

• Support payroll processing (if required)

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

• Strong knowledge of GST and basic taxation

• Basic understanding of TDS

• Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)

• Ability to prepare professional quotations and financial documents

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good analytical and numerical skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles

• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualification:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)

• 6 months to 2 years of relevant accounting experience

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Knowledge of income tax basics

• Experience in handling vendor payments

• Familiarity with accounting software other than Tally (if any)

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
