Job Title: Cashier / Accountant

About the Role

Aasha Hostel, part of Aakash Institute, is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Cashier/Accountant to manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash transactions, receipts, and payments

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements

• Manage hostel fee collection and record keeping

• Perform bank reconciliations and cash verification

• Work on ERP software for accounting and reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

• Coordinate with internal teams for billing and accounts-related tasks

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: B.Com / M.Com or relevant degree

• Experience: 1–3 years in accounting or cashier role

• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP software, MS Excel, and accounting tools

• Skills Required:

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong numerical ability

  • Good communication skills

  • Integrity and reliability
