Job Description (JD) – Accounts Executive

Position: Accounts Executive

Experience Required: 6 Months – 1 Year

Location: Kolkata

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive with hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, and Tally. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, supporting audit processes, and ensuring accurate accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.

Handle bookkeeping and data entry in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

Prepare vouchers, invoices, purchase entries, and sales entries.

Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts.

Assist in internal and external audit activities.

Verify financial documents and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare GST-related data and support tax filing processes.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable.

Generate financial reports and MIS reports as required.

Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

Basic understanding of Accounting Principles.

Knowledge of Audit Processes and documentation.

Familiarity with GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.

Proficiency in MS Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification.

Experience: 6 Months to 1 Year in Accounts/Audit.

Freshers with strong Tally and accounting knowledge may also apply.

Salary

₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
