Accountant Job Description

An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the financial health of an organization. They handle daily accounting tasks, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Manage GST filing, TDS, and other tax-related work
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Assist in budgeting and financial planning
Ensure compliance with financial laws and company policies
Prepare invoices and track expenses
Coordinate with auditors and support audits
