Job description:
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, maintaining accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role requires accuracy, analytical skills, and knowledge of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare and manage balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Prepare data for audits and coordinate with auditors.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Monitor company expenses and suggest cost-control measures.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Time management ability
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
MBA (Finance) preferred
1–3 years of experience (for junior level)
Salary Range:
₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience and location)
₹25,000-₹35,000
