Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of Taxation, GST, TDS, Auditing, invoicing, and billing processes. The candidate should have hands-on experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and coordination with auditors, preferably in the finance, banking, or auditing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations

Handle GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and GST audits

Prepare and file TDS returns, ensure timely deduction, payment, and reconciliation (Form 26Q, 24Q, 16/16A)

Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits and provide required documentation

Manage invoicing, billing, and payables/receivables processes

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports

Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory regulations

Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and tax authorities

Maintain accurate financial records and support year-end closing activities

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of GST (GSTR-3B, GSTR-1)

Expertise in Taxation & TDS compliance

Experience in Auditing (Statutory/Internal/Tax)

Proficiency in Invoicing & Billing processes

Knowledge of Income Tax, GST laws, and compliance frameworks

Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, SAP, or similar)

Good understanding of banking & finance operations

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks

Strong ethical standards and confidentiality

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance

CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / MBA (Finance) – Preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile

1–5 years of experience in Finance, Banking, or Auditing industry

Practical exposure to GST, TDS, and audit handling

Experience working with CA firms, banks, NBFCs, or corporate finance teams and
