Cost Accounting:
Analyze and maintain costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
Calculate and update standard costs for production.
Variance analysis: Compare standard costs to actual production costs and report variances.
Report on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and gross margin.
Inventory Management:
Perform inventory valuation and reconciliation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
Analyze inventory for risk and reserves.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
Conduct gross margin analysis by product, department, and overall.
Support monthly and annual financial close processes.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop, monitor, and revise budgets for manufacturing operations.
Provide forecasts to support business planning.
