We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at at River Engineering Private Limited. The role involves managing financial transactions of the organization, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹20,000 - ₹28,000 and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate entry of financial transactions
Handle accounts payable & receivable
Prepare vouchers, journal entries, and ledger accounts
Bank reconciliation and cash/bank book maintenance
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
Ensure timely invoice generation and follow-up for payments
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounts records
Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis
Skills & Requirements
Good knowledge of accounting principles
Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP / accounting software
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax
Proficient in MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
