Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and committed Accountant to manage the financial integrity of the SocialAngel platform. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, funds are transparently managed, and accounting processes effectively support our platform’s purpose. The ideal candidate will bring precision, accountability, and a strong sense of responsibility toward maintaining trust with partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage financial transactions related to donations, disbursements, and internal expenses with accuracy and integrity.

• Reconcile bank statements, payment gateways, and platform wallets to maintain a crystal-clear financial trail.

• Maintain & organize financial records and ensure every transaction is audit-ready.

• Prepare detailed reports for internal use, donor updates, and regulatory bodies.

• Track and allocate funds to the right campaigns, ensuring real-time visibility and donor confidence.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Ensure full compliance with TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (NGO, fintech, or CSR sector experience is a plus).

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial compliance.

• A sharp eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
