Junior Accountant / Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are hiring Junior Accountants and Senior Accountants for a renowned and well-established organization in Siliguri. We are looking for dedicated, detail-oriented, and responsible accounting professionals who are passionate about building a long-term career in finance and accounting. The ideal candidates should have sound accounting knowledge, good analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts.

• Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, invoices, and ledgers.

• Handle purchase, sales, cash, and bank transactions.

• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Prepare GST data and assist in GST return filing.

• Handle TDS-related documentation and statutory compliance.

• Prepare MIS reports and financial statements.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Coordinate with auditors and maintain financial records.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial data.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com (Preferred)

• Experience:

  • Junior Accountant: 06 - 2 Years ( Experience Proffered)

  • Senior Accountant: 2 - 3 Years ( Experience Proffered)

• Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also be considered for junior-level positions But With B.com Graduate Only.
