Position: Accountant

RS Caterers is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. This position offers a stable work environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Details

• Job Role: Accountant

• Work Timing: General Shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

• Week Off: Rotational

• Location: Kamaraj Nagar, Avadi
  Salary: Industry Standard

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities, including payments, receipts, and expense tracking.

• Maintain cash book, ledger entries, and financial records.

• Prepare invoices, purchase entries, sales entries, and payment vouchers.

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances.

• Handle GST-related documentation and support tax filings.

• Process vendor payments and maintain accounts payable/receivable records.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and management summaries.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.

• Maintain accurate records using Tally and MS Excel.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Tally Prime

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

• GST and basic taxation knowledge

• Bank reconciliation

• Accounts payable and receivable management

• Invoice processing and bookkeeping

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), or related qualification.

• Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

• Additional accounting certifications will be an advantage.
