We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Billing Accountant to manage daily restaurant billing, cash handling, sales reconciliation, and basic accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in restaurant billing operations, POS systems, cash management, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and verify customer bills using restaurant POS/billing software.

• Handle cash, UPI, credit/debit card, and other payment transactions.

• Reconcile daily sales, collections, and payment gateway settlements.

• Maintain daily sales reports, cash registers, and billing records.

• Verify discounts, complimentary orders, refunds, and cancelled bills.

• Coordinate with restaurant staff and management regarding billing discrepancies.

• Maintain purchase invoices, expense records, and petty cash accounts.

• Assist in vendor payments, supplier ledger maintenance, and basic bookkeeping.

• Support GST-related billing and documentation.

• Prepare daily closing reports and ensure accurate cash handover.

• Maintain proper documentation and assist with monthly account closing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com preferred) or equivalent qualification.

• 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or restaurant operations.

• Knowledge of POS billing software and MS Excel.

• Basic understanding of GST invoices and accounting procedures.

• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

• Honest, organised, and capable of handling cash responsibly.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates with prior experience in restaurants, cafés, hotels, or the food and beverage industry will be preferred.

• Knowledge of Tally or other accounting software will be an advantage.

• Candidates residing in or near Sector 108, Gurugram, are preferred.
