Job Description: Accountant

Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for independently managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, accuracy in financial reporting, and effective financial control. The role demands deep hands-on experience in Tally Prime and strong knowledge of Indian accounting and taxation laws.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain complete books of accounts including bank reconciliation & cash management using Tally Prime.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.

Handle GST compliance including returns, reconciliation, and coordination for audits.

Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and filings as per statutory requirements.

Oversee payroll accounting, salary processing entries, and statutory deductions.

Ensure compliance with income tax, GST, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities during audits and assessments.

Monitor expenses, vendor payments, and revenue accounting for digital service transactions.

Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and internal control adherence.

Provide financial insights and support management in decision-making.

Key Skills & Competencies

Extensive hands-on experience with Tally Prime.

Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.

High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com
