Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our company. The candidate will be responsible for accounting, taxation, vendor payments, invoicing, GST compliance, payroll support, and financial reporting. Experience in project-based accounting and the event industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and bank transactions.

• Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up for outstanding payments.

• Process vendor bills and manage payment schedules.

• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets.

• Handle GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.

• File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and assist in TDS return filing.

• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.

• Coordinate with auditors, CA, banks, and government authorities.

• Manage petty cash and employee reimbursement records.

• Assist in payroll processing and salary documentation.

• Track project-wise costs, budgets, and profitability for exhibitions and events.

• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, contracts, and financial records.

• Support management with financial analysis and budgeting.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.

• Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP.

• Experience in Bank Reconciliation and Financial Reporting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Ability to work under deadlines during peak event periods.
