Job Description – Accountant

Position: Accountant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, and assist with statutory compliance and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.

• Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and payment records.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable.

• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

• Maintain cash book and petty cash records.

• Assist in preparation of monthly salary and expense-related records.

• Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other statutory compliance-related work.

• Prepare and maintain MIS reports and financial statements.

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments.

• Ensure timely recording and verification of all accounting transactions.

• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualification:

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

• Knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred, preferably in the real estate/construction industry.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.

• Good command of MS Excel and Tally/ERP.

• Knowledge of GST and TDS.

• Good analytical and numerical skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
