Job Summary

We are looking for a high-performing and detail-oriented Accountant with 4+ years of experience in overall accounting and day-to-day financial operations. The candidate must be proficient in Tally Prime and capable of maintaining accurate accounting records, managing statutory compliance data, handling invoicing, and coordinating payment collections.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, vouchers, and bookkeeping.

• Maintain and update accounting records, financial data, and supporting documents in Tally Prime.

• Prepare and verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, receipts, and payment entries.

• Maintain and manage data related to GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.

• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers for timely payment collection.

• Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, vendor accounts, and general ledgers.

• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions.

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and accounting summaries as required.

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updating of accounting records while meeting assigned deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com or an equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting.

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in overall accounting and day-to-day accounting operations.

• Mandatory: Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP.

• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax data management, and related statutory documentation.

• Experience in invoicing, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and payment collection follow-ups.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting documentation.

• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, ownership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results within deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive, high-performing professional with strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience in Tally Prime, and the ability to manage accounting operations with accuracy and accountability. Candidates who can independently handle routine accounting activities and effectively coordinate payment collections will be preferred.
