We are looking for a professional to handle accounting, taxation, compliance and internal audit assignments for various clients of the CA firm.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting: Maintain and review books of accounts, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, ledgers and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and review Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet and assist in month-end and year-end closing.
Perform debtor, creditor, bank and other account reconciliations and identify accounting discrepancies.
GST Compliance: Prepare and review GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, wherever applicable.
Perform GSTR-2B vs. Books/Purchase Register reconciliation, ITC reconciliation and review of ITC reversals and blocked credit.
Review RCM, e-invoice, e-way bill and other GST compliances and assist in GST notices, audits and refund matters.
TDS/TCS: Review transactions for TDS/TCS applicability, prepare monthly workings, challans and quarterly TDS returns.
Handle Form 16/16A, TRACES reconciliation, TDS defaults, correction returns and TDS notices.
Income Tax: Prepare income-tax computations and ITRs for individuals, firms, LLPs and companies.
Assist in tax audit, Form 3CD, depreciation, capital gains and other income-tax workings.
Assist in preparation of replies to Income Tax notices, assessments, rectification and other proceedings.
Internal Audit: Conduct process and transaction-level audits and review accounting, financial controls and statutory compliances.
Identify control weaknesses, accounting errors, compliance gaps and financial/process risks.
Prepare audit working papers, audit observations, recommendations and internal audit reports.
Conduct reconciliation and verification of inventory, fixed assets, receivables, payables, expenses and other financial records, wherever required.
Coordinate with clients for documents, information, clarifications and follow-ups.
Maintain proper documentation and working papers for all assignments.
Keep updated with changes in GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, Accounting Standards and ICAI requirements.
Ensure timely completion of assignments and statutory compliances within prescribed deadlines.
Required SkillsGood knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax and Audit.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Tally/ERP.
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
Good drafting and communication skills.
Ability to independently handle assignments and interact with clients.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

Qualification & ExperienceQualification: CA / CA Inter / CA Final / B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, audit or a CA firm. Freshers with strong fundamentals may also be considered.
