Job Description :
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and supervise the organization's books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.
• Manage the general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and closing of accounts.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and other financial records.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses, and provide recommendations to management.
• Ensure timely compliance with all applicable tax laws, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings, returns, and payments.
• Coordinate and facilitate internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, and other financial inspections by maintaining accurate records and supporting documentation.
• Verify, approve, and monitor financial transactions, vouchers, invoices, purchase orders, expense claims, payroll records, and payment processes.
• Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls to safeguard organizational assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and present financial reports, MIS reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review and decision-making.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, government authorities, consultants, vendors, and other external stakeholders on financial and statutory matters.
• Supervise, guide, and support junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to accounting procedures.
• Ensure proper maintenance, security, and confidentiality of all financial records, documents, and accounting information.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, financial reporting systems, and operational efficiency.
• Assist management in financial planning, investment analysis, cost control, and strategic business decisions.
• Perform any other finance, accounting, taxation, compliance, reporting, or administrative duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
