We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with a basic understanding of
accounting processes, including sales and purchase transactions, statutory
compliance, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and
capable of handling day-to-day accounting activities efficiently
Position: Accountant
Experience: 2 years
Education: B. Com
Key Responsibilities:
Record and maintain sales and purchase transactions accurately in the
accounting system.
Handle inventory accounting, including monitoring and resolving negative
inventory issues.
Prepare and generate E-way bills in compliance with applicable regulations.
Assist in GST (Goods and Services Tax) compliance, including basic return
preparation and data validation.
Support TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations and related entries.
Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of
financial records.
Conduct ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and compliance.
Coordinate with internal teams for transaction verification and corrections.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of GST and TDS regulations.
Familiarity with E-way bill generation process.
Understanding of inventory accounting concepts, including negative inventory.
Knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
