Job Title: Accountant (Tally & Marg ERP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally and Marg ERP to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be proficient in bookkeeping, taxation, and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts using Tally (Prime/ERP) and Marg ERP

• Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments)

• Prepare and maintain GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

• Handle bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets

• Assist in TDS calculation, return filing, and compliance

• Maintain inventory records and stock reconciliation (especially in Marg ERP)

• Support audits and coordinate with CA/tax consultants

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong working knowledge of Tally and Marg ERP

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic income tax

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)

• Knowledge of inventory accounting and reporting

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent

• Additional certifications in accounting/taxation are a plus

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (experience level can be adjusted)

Preferred Industry Experience

• Trading, retail, distribution, or pharmaceutical accounts (especially for Marg users)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,429.97 per month
