Job Description of Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain daily accounting entries in ERP/Accounting software (Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks).
Handle account reconciliation, including bank, vendor, and customer ledger reconciliation.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial audits and provide required documentation.
Perform GST, GSTR, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings and record maintenance.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on outstanding balances.
Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
Verify invoices, bills, and purchase orders, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Support management with budgeting and cost tracking.
Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and auditors.
