Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our real estate business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling project-wise accounting, managing receivables and payables, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and general ledger entries.

• Prepare and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Record customer bookings, collections, refunds, and payment schedules.

• Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, and vendor ledgers.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Process vendor payments, contractor bills, and employee reimbursements.

• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

• Monitor project costs and provide financial analysis to management.

• Maintain accurate documentation of property transactions and agreements.

• Generate MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, GST, and TDS.

• Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in real estate project accounting.

• Knowledge of RERA-related financial processes.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication and reporting skills.

• Experience with financial audits and compliance management.
