Job Description – Accountant (Work From Office)

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Moti Nagar, New Delhi
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month
Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred
About the Role
Buzzmint Media Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain statutory compliance, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Tally, along with excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles. Knowledge of Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities and bookkeeping.
Maintain books of accounts using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
Work on Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting (preferred, if applicable).
Handle GST return filing, reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and reconciliations.
Prepare and maintain Ledger, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and other financial reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Generate and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Proforma Invoices (PIs).
Prepare and process client and vendor invoices.
Coordinate vendor and client payments.
Maintain challans and financial documentation.
Work with ClearTax or similar platforms for tax compliance (preferred).
Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant (CA) for statutory filings, audits, and financial documentation.
Assist in trademark application documentation and other compliance-related activities whenever required.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial analysis as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
Strong hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime is mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Ledger Management, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience with ClearTax or similar tax compliance software.
Experience in payroll processing, PF & ESIC compliance will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, Chartered Accountants, and external consultants.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
