The Accountant/Admin is responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting transactions, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. This role combines accounting duties with general administrative tasks, requiring attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll.
Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts monthly.
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and local regulations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Support external auditors by providing required documentation.
Monitor expenses and help control operational costs.
Administrative Duties:
Handle office correspondence, documentation, and filing systems.
Support HR functions such as attendance monitoring and leave records.
Coordinate office operations and logistics (supplies, maintenance, etc.).
Assist management in scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
Liaise with vendors, clients, and service providers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience (2–5 years) in accounting or administrative roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of local tax laws and accounting standards is an advantage.
