Job Description – Accounts Executive

Position: Accounts Executive

Job Summary

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining financial records, and supporting the company's financial activities. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and coordination with internal departments, vendors, customers, auditors, and banks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting transactions in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

• Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, debit notes, and credit notes.

• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

• Perform bank reconciliation and cash book reconciliation.

• Process vendor payments and follow up on customer collections.

• Prepare and maintain GST-compliant invoices and records.

• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and return filings.

• Maintain inventory accounting and reconcile stock with production records.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and ageing reports.

• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning.

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and government authorities.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.

• Support management with financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com).

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial company.

• Working knowledge of Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, GST, TDS, and basic taxation.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
