Accountant

Job Title: Accountant Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in taxation and accounting software. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts and general ledger using Tally

• Prepare and manage invoices, billing, and payment follow-ups

• Handle accounts payable and receivable

• Ensure timely deduction and filing of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) returns

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and ensure compliance

• Manage PTRC (Professional Tax Registration Certificate) compliance and filings

• Assist in preparation and filing of ITR (Income Tax Returns)

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow

• Prepare financial statements and MIS reports

• Maintain proper documentation for audits and support during internal/external audits

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com preferred)

• 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong working knowledge of Tally

• Practical experience in GST, TDS, PTRC, and ITR filings

• Good understanding of Indian taxation and compliance

Key Skills:

• Invoicing and billing management

• Tax compliance (GST, TDS, PTRC, ITR)

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong MS Excel skills

• Time management and organizational skills

• Problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications:

• CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent

• Experience working in a CA firm or similar environment

Work Environment:

• Office-based / Hybrid

• Standard working hours with deadlines during tax periods
