A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA designation is heavily preferred for senior or fund-level roles.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of real estate-specific accounting principles, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and lease administration.Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with specialized industry tools like Yardi, AppFolio, or MRI, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Analytical Skills: Strong ability to track detailed metrics, analyze market trends, and interpret lease agreements.
