We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with practical knowledge of GST compliance, accounting, taxation, and financial documentation. The candidate must have hands-on experience in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, E-Way Bills, and E-Invoicing and should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. GST & Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.

• Reconcile sales and purchase data with GST returns and GSTR-2B.

• Generate and manage E-Way Bills for goods transportation.

• Generate E-Invoices through the applicable portal or accounting software.

• Verify GST invoices, HSN codes, GST rates, and tax calculations.

• Maintain proper GST records and ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.

2. Day-to-Day Accounting

• Maintain sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal entries.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

• Maintain customer and vendor accounts.

• Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.

• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.

3. TDS & Other Statutory Compliance

• Assist in TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing.

• Maintain records related to statutory payments and compliance.

• Coordinate with consultants and auditors for GST, taxation, and audit-related matters.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare outstanding payment and receivable reports.

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.

• Support management with MIS reports and other financial data.

• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Mandatory practical knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, E-Way Bills, and E-Invoicing.

• Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.

• Good understanding of GST rules, accounting principles, and taxation.

• Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in a manufacturing, trading, or export-oriented company will be preferred.

• Must be able to independently handle routine GST and accounting activities.

• Should have good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely and accurate filing of GST returns.

• Error-free generation of E-Way Bills and E-Invoices.

• Timely completion of bank, ledger, and GST reconciliations.

• Accuracy of accounting entries and financial records.

• Timely submission of reports and statutory payments.
