Job description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Executive to manage the company’s end-to-end accounting and finance operations.

The ideal candidate should have 3–4 years of relevant experience and be capable of independently handling the complete Finance & Accounts function, including accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, reconciliations, invoicing, collections, compliance, and financial reporting.

This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage day-to-day finance operations independently while coordinating with management, customers, vendors, and external CA/auditors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete accounting and finance operations of the company.

Maintain accurate books of accounts using Zoho Books.

Record and verify all income, expenses, receipts, payments, invoices, and financial transactions.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Prepare and issue customer invoices and monitor outstanding payments.

Follow up with customers for timely payment collections.

Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account-related queries.

Perform regular bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.

Handle GST compliance and return filing.

Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filing.

Ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory and taxation requirements.

Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial reports for management.

Track receivables, payables, expenses, and cash flow.

Handle month-end and year-end accounting closing activities.

Maintain proper documentation of all financial and statutory records.

Coordinate with external CA/auditors for audits, taxation, compliance, and financial requirements.

Prepare supporting documents, schedules, and reports required for audits and statutory filings.

Review accounting entries and identify and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain records of GST, TDS, invoices, bills, payments, and other financial documents.

Support management with financial analysis, expense tracking, and reporting.

Ensure all accounting processes are accurate, timely, and properly documented.

Take complete ownership of the company’s Finance & Accounts function.

Required Skills

3–4 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.

Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.

Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software.

Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation.

Strong understanding of bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.

Experience handling accounts payable and receivable.

Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.

Ability to independently manage the complete accounting cycle.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to coordinate with customers, vendors, management, and external CA/auditors.

Strong ownership and ability to work independently.

Eligibility

B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or a related qualification.

3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

Candidates who have independently handled the Finance & Accounts function of a company will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong practical knowledge of Zoho Books.

Hands-on experience with GST and TDS filing and compliance.

Experience managing complete accounting operations independently.

Experience coordinating with CA firms and auditors.

Experience preparing MIS and management reports.

Previous experience in a startup or growing company will be an added advantage.
